Follow in the footsteps of the Berbers in the Ourika valley
This trip to the Ourika valley provides a small escape from the stresses of everyday life. Experience Berber life firsthand by visiting a traditional Berber home, with traditional cuisine, bath, cattle ranch and a terrace that offers a beautiful view of the nearby river and fields. If you visit the valley on a Monday, Thursday, or Friday, you can witness the local weekly market with its unique offerings.
On the way to the valley you can visit an old pottery kiln to learn how Berber dishes are made and decorated. The magnificent scenery throughout the valley is the highlight of this excursion.
On request, you can also visit the famous ANIMA garden during the outward or return journey.
